Three people were hospitalized following a crash between a truck and a Jeep on Washington Street north of Avenue 42 in Bermuda Dunes, Riverside County, on Tuesday night, April 8, 2025.
According to CAL FIRE and the California Highway Patrol, the crash occurred just before 9:00 p.m. and resulted in one of the vehicles striking a tree and catching fire.
A witness reported that the driver of the burning truck may have fled the scene before law enforcement arrived. Emergency responders treated three individuals at the scene and transported them to a local hospital for further evaluation.
The CHP is investigating the cause of the crash.
