Two people were hospitalized, one in critical condition, after a solo-vehicle crash into a concrete barrier in Mecca, Riverside County, on Friday morning, May 9, 2025.
According to Cal Fire, the crash occurred just before 11:30 a.m. at Avenue 66 and Dale Kiler Road and involved only one vehicle.
Emergency crews arrived to find two victims at the scene. One person was airlifted to a hospital in critical condition, while the second was transported by ambulance with moderate injuries.
The California Highway Patrol is investigating the cause of the crash. No further details about the individuals involved were immediately released.
