[06-14-2025] One Killed, Three Injured in DUI Rollover Crash on Trimmer Springs Road Near Lakeview AvenueA man was killed and three others were injured in a rollover crash caused by a suspected drunk driver on Trimmer Springs Road in Fresno County on Saturday evening, June 14, 2025.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash occurred around 7:15 p.m. just north of Lakeview Avenue. 

A white GMC pickup was traveling southbound at high speed when the driver failed to negotiate a sweeping right curve. The vehicle veered off the east side of the road, down a steep embankment, and rolled several times before coming to rest against a tree approximately 200 feet from the roadway.

A 40-year-old male passenger was pronounced dead at the scene. Three other passengers sustained injuries ranging from minor to moderate and were treated by emergency personnel.

CHP confirmed that alcohol was a contributing factor in the crash. The driver, a 40-year-old Fresno man, was arrested on suspicion of felony DUI and vehicular manslaughter with gross negligence. Due to his injuries, he was airlifted to Community Regional Medical Center and will be booked into the Fresno County Jail upon release.

The crash remains under investigation.
