One person was transported to the hospital with minor injuries following a two-vehicle crash in Ridgecrest on Monday morning, June 16, 2025.
According to Ridgecrest Police Chief Mario Ysit, the collision occurred at approximately 9:44 a.m. just east of Richmond Road.
A Nissan Sentra traveling westbound drifted into the eastbound lane and into the path of an oncoming Toyota Tacoma. The truck’s driver attempted to avoid the collision but was unable to evade the impact.
The driver of the Nissan was taken to a local hospital with minor injuries. Both occupants of the Toyota Tacoma were uninjured.
The incident remains under investigation.
