[07-16-2025] One Killed, Another Critically Injured in Head-On Crash on Summit Valley Road in HesperiaOne person was killed and another critically injured in a head-on collision on Summit Valley Road in Hesperia on Wednesday night, July 16, 2025.

According to the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department, the crash occurred around 8:33 p.m. just south of Ranchero Road near Las Flores Road. 

The collision involved a white SUV and a silver Acura sedan, both of which sustained extensive front-end damage.

Emergency personnel from the San Bernardino County Fire Protection District responded and confirmed that one person was pronounced dead at the scene. Another individual was transported to a nearby hospital in critical condition.

The San Bernardino County Coroner’s Office was requested to respond. The Hesperia Police Department is leading the investigation, as the crash occurred within city limits.
