A man was injured in a crash involving a motorcycle and another vehicle on Interstate 80 near the causeway in Yolo County on Thursday morning, July 17, 2025.
According to dispatch radio communications, the crash occurred around 7:39 a.m., and the injured motorcyclist was transported to a nearby hospital for treatment. The extent of his injuries has not been confirmed.
Caltrans reported that the westbound lane was cleared by 8:55 a.m., but eastbound lanes remained blocked with no estimated time for reopening.
The crash took place in the same area as an earlier multi-vehicle collision reported Thursday morning. Drivers were advised to expect delays and seek alternate routes.
The incident remains under investigation.
