A 64-year-old man from Terra Bella died following a two-vehicle crash in Tulare County on Tuesday evening, July 29, 2025.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision occurred just after 5:20 p.m. at the intersection of Old Stage Road and Avenue 108, northeast of Terra Bella.
A 2012 Toyota Corolla carrying four occupants was traveling eastbound on Avenue 108 when it failed to stop at a stop sign and entered the path of a southbound 2017 Toyota Tacoma. The Tacoma struck the left side of the Corolla.
CHP reported that two rear passengers in the Corolla sustained major injuries, while the driver and front passenger suffered minor injuries. The 64-year-old rear passenger was pronounced dead several hours later. His identity has not yet been released.
The driver of the Tacoma sustained minor injuries but was not transported to a hospital.
Authorities continue to investigate the crash.
