A 65-year-old motorcyclist died following a multi-vehicle crash in Placentia on Thursday afternoon, July 31, 2025.
According to the Placentia Police Department, the collision occurred around 2:40 p.m. near the intersection of Orangethorpe Avenue and Jefferson Street and involved two vehicles and a motorcycle.
Officers arriving at the scene performed CPR and provided immediate medical aid to the motorcyclist. Placentia Fire and Life Safety personnel continued life-saving efforts before transporting the man to a hospital, where he later died.
The other drivers involved were taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Authorities continue to investigate the crash.
