Police are investigating a hit-and-run crash in Fontana that left a teenager seriously injured on Wednesday morning, August 6, 2025.
According to Fontana Police, the incident occurred at 7:30 a.m. near Cherry Avenue and Walnut Street, just blocks from Etiwanda High School. The 17-year-old victim, a student at the high school, was on her way to school when she was struck by a vehicle.
The teenager sustained serious injuries and was transported to a nearby hospital for treatment.
At this time, police do not have a description of the vehicle or driver involved in the hit-and-run. Authorities continue to search for the suspect and investigate the crash.
