A contractor working for the Yuba Water Agency died after a construction equipment accident near the New Colgate Powerhouse in Dobbins, Yuba County, on Thursday, August 7, 2025.
According to the Yuba Water Agency, the worker was operating construction equipment when it fell down an embankment. Emergency responders arrived, but the worker was pronounced dead at the scene.
The agency has not yet released the worker’s identity or provided additional details about the accident.
