Two vehicles overturned after a crash in Oakhurst, Madera County, on Saturday morning, August 30, 2025.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision occurred around 10:20 a.m. just east of Civic Circle. Officers responded to reports of a two-vehicle crash involving a Toyota and a Subaru.
Investigators said a Mariposa man was traveling westbound in the No. 1 lane at approximately 35 miles per hour, while an Oakhurst woman was traveling westbound in the No. 2 lane.
The man attempted to turn right toward the Camarena Health parking lot without ensuring the path was clear, causing the rear of his Toyota to collide with the front of the woman’s Subaru. Both vehicles overturned as a result of the impact.
CHP reported that the driver and passenger of the Toyota were transported to a local hospital for evaluation. No one sustained major injuries.
Authorities continue to investigate the crash.
