A bicyclist was killed after being struck by a vehicle in Vallejo early Sunday morning, August 31, 2025.
According to Vallejo police, the collision occurred around 12:05 a.m. near Sonoma Boulevard and Tennessee Street.
Emergency crews provided life-saving measures at the scene before transporting the bicyclist to a local hospital, where the individual later died. Authorities have not released the victim’s name.
Police reported that the driver, who remained at the scene and cooperated with officers, did not appear to be under the influence of alcohol or drugs. Toxicology results for the bicyclist are pending and will be confirmed following the autopsy.
Authorities continue to investigate the collision.
