According to the Oakland Fire Department, responders found the individual “not conscious, but breathing” and transported them to a hospital for treatment. More than 100 people had gathered at the scene, prompting police patrols for traffic control.

Witnesses reported that dozens of ATVs and dirt bikes were riding on the wrong side of the street and performing stunts in the area. Residents said such street takeovers are frequent in the neighborhood, particularly on weekends, and sometimes result in injuries.

Authorities have not released further details regarding the cause of the crash or the condition of the injured person. Police and fire officials continue to monitor the area.
