A man in his 40s was killed in an apparent hit-and-run on the 7900 block of Camino Media, just off Gosford Road in Bakersfield, on Sunday morning, October 12, 2025.
According to Sgt. Caleb Kaiser of the Bakersfield Police Department, the man was found unresponsive on the roadway around 8:00 a.m. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Physical evidence of a collision was observed, but no suspect description or vehicle information has been released.
