[10-29-2025] One Dead, Another Injured After Solo Car Crash Into Power Pole on North Muller Street in AnaheimA man was killed and another person injured after a car crashed into a power pole in Anaheim on Wednesday night, October 29, 2025.

The crash occurred just before 10 p.m. at North Muller Street and West Bayport Circle. Anaheim police and firefighters responded to the scene and found the two people trapped inside a Toyota Corolla. 

The passenger, believed to be a 19-year-old man, was transported to a hospital, where he later died. The 18-year-old driver was recovering at the hospital, according to Anaheim police Sgt. Matt Sutter.

Authorities reported that alcohol and nitrous oxide were allegedly found in the vehicle, and driving under the influence is believed to be a factor in the crash. The Corolla had its driver’s side pinned against the power pole. Firefighters had to cut the roof off the vehicle to free the driver.

The crash occurred in a mixed residential and commercial area, south of the 5 Freeway. The identity of the passenger is being withheld pending notification of his relatives. Whether the driver will face criminal charges remains unclear.
