A crash involving a semi-truck and a Tesla blocked lanes on southbound Interstate 5 near Grapevine Road in Kern County on Thursday afternoon, November 20, 2025.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision was reported around 2:14 p.m. when a semi-truck appeared to jackknife into the guardrail, causing roughly 40 feet of guardrail damage.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
