A pedestrian who was struck and killed by a vehicle near Magnolia Avenue and Polk Street in Riverside on Friday evening, December 5, 2025, has been identified as 40-year-old Cody M. of Winchester.
According to the Riverside County Fire Department, the crash was reported around 5:20 p.m.
Officers found Cody suffering from major injuries, and he was transported to a hospital where he later died.
Police said the driver remained at the scene and cooperated with the investigation. Preliminary findings indicated that the pedestrian crossed Magnolia Avenue outside of the marked crosswalk and was struck by a westbound vehicle traveling through a green light.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
