[12-28-2025] One Killed, Multiple Injured After Fiery Two-Vehicle Crash on Highway 395 Near AdelantoOne person was killed, and multiple others were injured following a fiery two-vehicle crash on the southbound side of U.S. Highway 395 near Adelanto on Sunday afternoon, December 28, 2025.

According to the San Bernardino County Fire Department, the crash occurred at approximately 12:11 p.m. on Highway 395 just south of Shadow Mountain Road. 

Fire crews arrived to find a Land Rover SUV fully engulfed in flames and immediately began fire suppression efforts while providing medical care. 

Authorities said six people were involved in the crash. One person was pronounced dead at the scene, while two others sustained critical injuries and were classified as immediate patients. Three additional individuals suffered less severe injuries and were classified as delayed.

Officials said two medical helicopters transported the critically injured patients to local trauma centers. Fire department resources included three fire engines, two medical airships, one battalion chief, and three ground ambulances. 

The California Highway Patrol is handling the investigation.
