A pedestrian was injured after being struck by a vehicle at Del Monte Drive and McBean Parkway in Newhall, Santa Clarita, on Saturday afternoon, January 4, 2025.
According to Supervising Fire Dispatcher Martin Rangel, Los Angeles County firefighters responded to the scene following a call from Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station deputies at approximately 3:55 p.m.
Sheriff’s Watch Sgt. Mark Perkins reported that the pedestrian sustained minor injuries at the scene. The individual was transported to the nearest trauma center for further evaluation and treatment.
No arrests were made at the scene, and the incident is under investigation. The current condition of the pedestrian has not been disclosed.
