A 14-year-old motorcyclist succumbed to his injuries at the hospital after colliding with a vehicle at the intersection of Railroad Avenue and Oak Ridge Drive in Santa Clarita on Saturday night, January 4, 2025.
According to Sgt. Mark Perkins of the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station, emergency responders were dispatched at approximately 9:49 p.m. following reports of a vehicle-versus-pedestrian collision.
Upon arrival, first responders found the motorcyclist trapped underneath a vehicle. The teen was transported to the nearest trauma center, where he later died from his injuries.
The victim, identified by family as a 14-year-old boy, was riding his dirt bike at the time of the collision. The Los Angeles County Medical Examiner’s Office is withholding the motorcyclist’s name pending further confirmation.
Authorities confirmed no arrests were made at the scene, and there was no indication of reckless driving or driver impairment.
The crash remains under investigation by local authorities. No additional information is currently available.
