A 38-year-old pedestrian, Calvin B., was fatally struck after a hit-and-run collision in the Marina del Rey area in Los Angeles County, early Wednesday morning, January 8, 2025.
According to the Los Angeles Police Department, the crash occurred at approximately 5:35 a.m. when an older model red Toyota Tacoma traveling north on Lincoln Boulevard collided with the pedestrian as he was crossing eastbound between Fiji Way and the Culver Boulevard overpass.
Paramedics from the Los Angeles Fire Department pronounced the victim dead at the scene.
The City of Los Angeles is offering a reward of up to $50,000 for information leading to the identification, arrest, and conviction of the hit-and-run driver.
The investigation is ongoing.
