California Highway Patrol officers responded to a crash in the northbound lanes of State Route 14, south of Placerita Canyon Road, in Los Angeles County, on Thursday afternoon, January 15, 2026.
The Los Angeles County Fire Department dispatched medical units at 3:55 p.m. after receiving a 911 call.
According to Supervisor Jonathan Torres, the fire department’s public information officer, initial radio dispatch traffic indicated there were no major injuries.
Fire Department personnel were released from the incident within 13 minutes, according to the PulsePoint emergency alert app. The CHP’s traffic incident log showed that the vehicles involved initially blocked all lanes but were moved to the shoulder by 4:08 p.m.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
