A 56-year-old pedestrian was killed in a hit-and-run crash in Stockton on Sunday morning, January 19, 2025.
According to the Stockton Police Department, officers responded to reports of a pedestrian possibly struck by an unidentified car at approximately 8:04 a.m. in the area of Flemons Avenue and Mariposa Road.
Upon arrival, they found the man unresponsive, and he was pronounced dead at the scene. Preliminary investigations suggest that the victim was walking in the area when he was hit by an unknown vehicle that fled the scene before officers arrived.
