[01-24-2026] Los Angeles County, CA – Pedestrian Killed After Being Struck by SUV on Harbor (110) Freeway

A pedestrian was struck and killed by an SUV while crossing lanes on the Harbor (110) Freeway in South Los Angeles on Saturday afternoon, January 24, 2026.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash was reported at 12:40 p.m. in the northbound Express Lanes under the Glenn Anderson (105) Freeway. 

Authorities stated that the pedestrian was found lying in the Express Lanes and was pronounced dead at the scene. The Medical Examiner’s Office later identified the victim as 41-year-old Johnny A. His city of residence was not available.

Officials said the woman driving the gray Hyundai SUV remained at the scene following the collision. 

The cause of the crash is under investigation.
