[01-25-2026] Los Angeles County, CA – At Least One Hospitalized After Two-Vehicle Crash at Verdugo Ave. and North Hollywood Way in Burbank

At least one person was hospitalized after a two-vehicle crash involving a classic car at the intersection of Verdugo Avenue and North Hollywood Way in Burbank on Sunday afternoon, January 25, 2026.

According to information shared on the Citizen App, the collision occurred just before 5:30 p.m. and involved a dark-colored four-door sedan and what appeared to be a Ford Shelby Cobra or a replica. 

Both vehicles sustained significant damage, including windshield damage to the blue-and-white Cobra. The circumstances leading up to the crash were not immediately clear.

Burbank Fire Department personnel responded to the scene and worked to carefully remove the driver from the Shelby. The driver was seen with bandages around his head and was placed onto a stretcher before being transported by ambulance to a hospital. The extent of his injuries was not known. It was unclear whether the driver of the sedan sustained any injuries.

No information was available regarding whether drugs or alcohol were factors in the crash. Authorities have not released details regarding potential charges.

The cause of the crash is under investigation.
