At least one child was transported by helicopter after being struck by a dirt bike near Pettinger Canyon Road and Haskell Canyon Road in Los Angeles County on Sunday afternoon, January 25, 2026.
According to radio dispatch traffic and PulsePoint data, Los Angeles County Fire Department personnel received the call around 3:17 p.m.
Station 111 and Copter 18 were dispatched to the scene, along with Search and Rescue units. Copter 18 located the victim at approximately 3:57 p.m.
The child was transported by helicopter to a hospital. The extent of the child’s injuries was not immediately known.
Fire Department officials were unable to provide additional details following multiple attempts to obtain comment.
The circumstances leading up to the incident remain under investigation.
