A pedestrian was fatally struck by a hit-and-run driver in Mission Hills, Los Angeles, on Wednesday night, January 29, 2025.
According to the Los Angeles Police Department, the crash occurred at approximately 9:50 p.m. on Rinaldi Street near Sepulveda Boulevard.
A black Chevrolet truck was traveling westbound on Rinaldi when it struck a man crossing outside a marked crosswalk. The driver fled the scene without stopping.
Emergency responders transported the pedestrian, described as a man between 30 and 40 years old, to a hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries.
