A man was killed in a hit-and-run collision in Northridge, Los Angeles, early Thursday, February 5, 2026.
The Los Angeles Police Department responded to the scene just before 2:00 a.m. in the 14300 block of West Roscoe Boulevard, west of Balboa Boulevard.
According to an LAPD officer, the driver was traveling east on Roscoe Boulevard when they struck the pedestrian.
Los Angeles Fire Department personnel arrived and pronounced the victim dead at the scene. The driver did not stop to render aid and fled the scene without stopping.
The LAPD’s Valley Traffic Bureau is handling the investigation into the collision.
