A husband and wife were killed in a collision, and another driver was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence, in Saugus, Los Angeles County, on Friday night, February 6, 2026.
According to the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station, deputies were called to the crash at around 11:15 p.m. at the intersection of Bouquet Canyon Road and Newhall Ranch Road.
Investigators said a vehicle driven by a man crashed into the couple’s vehicle.
Officials reported that the couple’s adult daughter was also inside the vehicle and survived the collision.
The daughter and the male driver involved in the crash were transported to a hospital for medical care.
Authorities said the driver was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence. No additional details regarding the victims’ or the suspect’s ages were released.
The investigation is ongoing.
