[02-09-2026] Los Angeles County, CA – Three Injured After Two-Vehicle Crash Involving Tesla in Winnetka

Three people were injured after a Tesla was involved in a fiery crash in Winnetka, Los Angeles, on Monday morning, February 9, 2026.

According to the Los Angeles Police Department, the crash was reported at around 7:46 a.m. in the area of Nordhoff Street and Bahama Street. 

Investigators said the Tesla collided with a truck and then struck a tree, causing the vehicle to catch fire.

First responders quickly extinguished the fire. Aerial footage from the scene showed the burned sedan surrounded by emergency crews and debris in the roadway.

Authorities reported that three individuals were transported to a local hospital with injuries of unknown severity. One of the injured was identified as a bystander who inhaled smoke while attempting to help rescue the occupants of the Tesla, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.

Police said the driver of the truck involved in the collision was not injured.

No further details were immediately available, and the circumstances leading up to the crash remain under investigation.
