A 23-year-old pedestrian was killed after being struck by two vehicles on Bouquet Canyon Road in Saugus, Santa Clarita on Monday night, February 10, 2025.
According to the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner, the victim was identified as Nelson V. of Santa Clarita.
At approximately 10:45 p.m., Vides was seen leaving The Shot Exchange, a local bar on the 26800 block of Bouquet Canyon Road near Festividad Drive, before walking into traffic. Witnesses reported that he was struck by two vehicles.
Emergency personnel responded to the scene, where Vides was pronounced dead.
The Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station stated that the collision is not being investigated as a criminal matter, and no arrests have been made.
The investigation is ongoing.
