A pedestrian was killed after being struck by a vehicle on Highway 138 in Phelan, San Bernardino County, on Tuesday night, February 10, 2026.
According to California Highway Patrol logs, the incident occurred around 8:10 p.m. on the westbound side of the highway at the Sheep Canyon Road off-ramp.
A witness at the scene told officials that the pedestrian appeared to run in front of a Ford Fusion.
All westbound lanes were shut down for the investigation, which remained in its early stages.
