A driver and passenger were hospitalized after their SUV veered off Highway 18 and crashed into a rocky embankment in Victorville on Sunday afternoon, February 15, 2026.
According to the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department, the crash was reported at around 1:11 p.m. near Stoddard Wells Road.
The driver, while turning left onto Highway 18 eastbound, became distracted and lost control, causing the vehicle to crash into a large rock bed along the highway.
Both the driver and passenger were transported to the hospital for precautionary treatment. No other vehicles were involved in the incident, which remains under investigation.
