A two-vehicle crash in Sunland, Los Angeles left a 60-year-old woman dead, a 60-year-old man critically injured, and a 35-year-old woman hospitalized in fair condition on Tuesday afternoon, February 18, 2025.
According to the Los Angeles Fire Department, emergency crews responded to reports of a severe traffic collision in the 8200 block of Foothill Boulevard, near McVine Avenue and the Haines Canyon Channel, at approximately 4:33 p.m.
One victim had to be extricated from a vehicle, while the 60-year-old woman was pronounced dead at the scene. Her identity is being withheld pending family notification.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation by the Los Angeles Police Department.
