A motorcyclist was killed in a crash involving multiple vehicles on the San Diego (405) Freeway in Long Beach on Tuesday morning, February 24, 2026.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash was reported at 6:53 a.m. on the southbound side of the freeway, just north of Long Beach Boulevard.
The motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
