A two-vehicle collision ended with a Lexus sedan flipping into a water fountain and catching fire in Tesoro del Valle, Los Angeles County, on Monday morning, March 2, 2026.
According to the Los Angeles County Fire Department, the crash occurred around 10:35 a.m. at the intersection of Avenida Rancho Tesoro and Copper Hill Drive.
The Lexus sedan collided with a Mercedes-Benz SUV, which sustained damage to its right front.
Firefighters arrived at the scene shortly after 10:37 a.m. and quickly extinguished the fire in the Lexus, which was resting on its driver’s side in the fountain.
One person was transported from the scene at 10:58 a.m., though no further details on their condition were provided.
The Lexus remained in the fountain while a tow truck was dispatched.
The incident is under investigation.
