[03-05-2026] San Bernardino County, CA – Pedestrian Killed in Hit-and-Run Crash on Hesperia Rd.

A pedestrian was struck and killed in a hit-and-run crash on Hesperia Road in the City of Hesperia on Thursday night, March 5, 2026.

According to the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department, the incident occurred at around 8:53 p.m. near the intersection of Hesperia Road and Santa Fe Avenue West.

San Bernardino County Fire responded to the scene and pronounced the pedestrian deceased in the southbound lane of Hesperia Road. The victim was later identified by the San Bernardino County Coroner’s Office as Brynn Z., a 32-year-old resident of Irvine.

Deputies with the Sheriff’s Department began an investigation into the fatal incident and reported that the driver involved fled the scene. 

The investigation is ongoing.
