A 63-year-old woman from Stockton was killed, and two men were injured in a multi-vehicle crash on Highway 99 in Ripon on Thursday night, March 6, 2025.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash occurred at approximately 10:26 p.m. north of Jack Tone Road.
Authorities reported that a 35-year-old man from Manteca was driving a pickup truck northbound at high speed while under the influence. The driver collided with a big rig and an SUV driven by the Stockton woman.
Emergency responders transported the woman to a nearby hospital, where she later succumbed to her injuries.
All three vehicles involved had only one occupant. CHP confirmed that alcohol is believed to have been a factor in the crash.
The incident remains under investigation.
