[03-06-2026] Stanislaus County, CA – Motorcyclist Killed in Hit-and-Run Crash in Modesto

A woman riding a motorcycle died after a hit-and-run crash in Modesto late Friday night, March 6, 2026.

According to the Modesto Police Department, officers responded just before 10 p.m. near La Loma Avenue and Morton Boulevard.

When officers arrived, they found a motorcyclist who had been struck by a vehicle. Authorities said the driver involved fled the scene following the crash.

Emergency crews transported the woman to a hospital for treatment. Police later confirmed on Saturday that she died from her injuries. Her identity has not yet been released.

Investigators later located the vehicle believed to have been involved in the collision. Authorities said the suspected driver and the circumstances surrounding the crash remain under investigation.
