According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident occurred around 8:55 p.m. on southbound Interstate 15 near Mission Road.

The impact caused the vehicle to spin out and come to rest facing the wrong direction in the center divide. A witness reported significant debris scattered across the roadway, with multiple vehicles striking the wreckage. Smoke was also seen coming from the crashed vehicle.

Shortly after the initial crash, another vehicle collided with the disabled Honda. One of the vehicles remained sideways in the No. 1 lane, prompting emergency responders to request a tow truck.

It remains unclear whether any injuries were sustained or if anyone was transported for medical care. The CHP is actively investigating the incident.
