A crash involving a semi-truck and a pickup truck caused multiple lane closures on California State Route 14 near Placerita Canyon Road in Santa Clarita on Monday morning, March 24, 2025.
According to Officer Carlos Burgos-Lopez with the California Highway Patrol’s Newhall area, officers were dispatched to the scene at approximately 9:36 a.m. The crash led to a diesel fuel spill from the semi-truck, prompting the closure of the second, third, and fourth lanes, leaving only the first lane open.
The Placerita Canyon Road off-ramp was also temporarily closed due to the incident.
No injuries or transports were reported as a result of the crash.
The CHP is investigating the cause of the incident.
