A person was killed after a red big rig and a white big rig collided in Pomona on Thursday morning, March 27, 2025.
According to the California Highway Patrol (CHP), the crash occurred around 8:42 a.m. in the transition road No. 2 lane from the westbound I-10 freeway to the northbound 57 freeway. The crash prompted a Sig Alert.
Emergency responders discovered a body under one of the big rigs. Authorities said that both trucks, attached to 80,000-pound trailers, require heavy-duty tow trucks.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
