A man and a woman were killed early Saturday morning when their vehicle crashed off a transition ramp and landed on State Route 94 in San Diego on March 29, 2025.
According to reports, the incident occurred just before 12:30 a.m. when the driver attempted to navigate the eastbound State Route 94 connector to northbound Interstate 15.
The vehicle reportedly left the over-crossing, struck a large freeway sign, and then landed on the westbound side of SR-94.
The impact caused the vehicle’s roof to cave in, resulting in fatal injuries to both occupants. They were pronounced dead at the scene.
The California Highway Patrol and San Diego Fire-Rescue Department responded to the scene.
An investigation into the cause of the crash is ongoing.
