A man died after being hit by a car in a crash on northbound Interstate 5 near Camp Pendleton in San Diego County early Monday morning, March 31, 2025.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident occurred at approximately 4:20 a.m. when a white Chevrolet Silverado traveling northbound on I-5 hit the man. The pedestrian died from his injuries at the scene.
