A three-vehicle collision occurred at the intersection of Cleveland Avenue and the southbound State Route 99 off-ramp in Madera on Saturday morning, April 5, 2025.
According to the California Highway Patrol Madera Office, a 26-year-old man from Gilroy was driving a white Chevrolet Equinox at a high rate of speed as he exited SR-99 onto the Cleveland Avenue off-ramp.
At the intersection, a red 2018 Honda Accord, driven by a 22-year-old Madera man, was stopped at a red light in the No. 1 lane of eastbound Cleveland Avenue. Next to him in the No. 2 lane was a white Chevrolet Traverse, driven by a 53-year-old Madera man, also stopped at the light.
Details on injuries and further outcomes were not immediately available. The CHP is investigating the cause of the crash.
