A 15-year-old boy was injured after being struck by a vehicle in a hit-and-run crash while riding his bicycle home from school in South Los Angeles on Monday afternoon, April 7, 2025.
According to surveillance footage and authorities, the crash occurred at around 3:30 p.m. near the intersection of Nadeau Street and Croesus Avenue.
The video shows a black BMW turning right and driving onto the sidewalk, hitting the teen, pausing momentarily, and then fleeing the scene.
The victim, identified as Sebastian C., sustained a concussion and several injuries requiring stitches. He was transported to the hospital for treatment.
The California Highway Patrol is investigating the crash and working to determine whether it was intentional. The BMW believed to be a newer 2025 model, reportedly sustained front-end damage.
The investigation remains ongoing.
