One person was extricated after a rollover crash involving at least two vehicles, which caused traffic delays on westbound Interstate 8 near the northbound Interstate 805 connector in Mission Valley, San Diego, on Thursday afternoon, April 10, 2025.
According to California Highway Patrol logs, at around 1:30 p.m., officers were dispatched to the scene after a rust-colored truck lost control and rolled over onto the center median for reasons still under investigation.
At least one other vehicle was reportedly involved. The truck came to rest on its driver’s side, and fire crews appeared to be working to extricate an occupant from the vehicle.
It was unclear whether any injuries were sustained in the crash. Debris was reported in the roadway, and traffic slowed past the interchange with State Route 163.
The CHP is investigating the incident.
