One person was killed after a pickup truck rear-ended a big rig and caught fire in Pasadena early Sunday morning, April 13, 2025.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash occurred at around 4:15 a.m. on the westbound 210 Freeway near the Fair Oaks Avenue off-ramp.
A representative from the Medical Examiner’s Office was requested to the scene at 4:34 a.m., where the fatality was confirmed.
The CHP is investigating the cause of the collision.
