Three pedestrians were hospitalized after a hit-and-run collision in downtown Sacramento on Sunday afternoon, April 14, 2024.
According to the Sacramento Fire Department, the incident happened at about 5:24 p.m. near Dos Rios Street and North B Street.
Authorities confirmed that after being struck by a car that quickly left the scene, all three victims were sent to the hospital with serious injuries. Two of them were said to be in stable condition, while the third one was reportedly in critical condition.
The police have yet to release an official description of the suspect vehicle and its driver.
Dos Rios Street between North B Street and North D Street was closed while authorities investigated.
