At least one person was injured after a rollover crash involving a tractor-trailer and an SUV on Interstate 15 just north of Barstow on Friday afternoon, April 18, 2025.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash occurred at approximately 12:34 p.m. near mile marker 72. A tractor-trailer traveling southbound reportedly overturned into the northbound fast lane, coming to rest on its passenger side.
Emergency responders from Barstow Fire and Baker Ambulance treated at least one individual at the scene. The extent of the injuries has not yet been confirmed.
The crash also involved an SUV, which was reportedly struck during the collision. The resulting debris impacted the Highway 58 on-ramp to I-15 South, prompting cleanup efforts.
The cause of the crash is under investigation by the CHP.
